Healthcare Reform: What Every CFO Needs to Know to Prepare for 2014 - Charlotte

BDO invites you to a complimentary program as part of our quarterly CFO roundtable series.
                                                                                                                                                                                                              On January 1, 2014, a host of new rules, mandates, taxes and incentives go into effect under the Affordable Care Act. This presentation will feature a roundtable discussion led by Jon Coffin, partner and benefits lawyer with Johnston, Allison & Hord, P.A. on the steps employers need to do now to prepare for implementation as we approach 2014.  Jon will apply the provisions of the new law to real life examples for a practical approach to understanding and implementing the changes.
At the end of this presentation, participants will be able to:

  • Identify penalties for failure to comply with healthcare reform mandates  
  • Define employees for purposes of eligibility
  • Define other ancillary requirements of healthcare reform affecting employers in 2013 and 2014
