Carrie Shagat

Carrie Shagat is an Assurance Principal with approximately 15 years of experience serving clients in the real estate, healthcare, manufacturing, technology and financial services industries.

Carrie is well-versed in the needs of clients ranging from small businesses to large public companies. Carrie’s clients benefit from her technical background, as well as her commitment to quality, honesty and collaboration and her ability to make a positive impact on their business.

She has performed audits for clients with Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) reporting requirements, conducted research on a variety of accounting issues in order to determine the appropriate accounting treatment, and has extensive experience in preparing comment letters for use by management to improve their systems of internal accounting controls. Carrie works extensively with the client’s accounting department to thoroughly plan audit engagements so that the company can effectively and efficiently meet their reporting requirements.
