Ian Cooper

Ian is a Principal in our Management Advisory Services practice. He has more than 25 years of Finance and Operations performance improvement experience. Ian helps clients generate significant results by improving and integrating their processes, technologies, organizations, and capabilities. Key areas of focus include Finance and Business Transformation, process assessment/redesign, Shared Services, technology enablement/optimization, and complex program management. He helps lead BDO’s Business Transformation consulting practice nationally. Ian is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP) and is a certified Prosci change management practitioner.

Prior to BDO, Ian was in leadership roles with two Big Four firms. Throughout his career, he has helped many leading organizations improve Finance/Operations, integrate global operations, build new capabilities, and modernize technology leading to increased business value. Ian has managed improvement programs of all sizes in the complete lifecycle from diagnosis, strategy, planning/roadmap, through design and implementation.
