    BDO Greater Washington D.C.’s purpose of helping people thrive is reflected through the support of Button Farm Living History Center, which is committed to providing a safe and affirming space for people to gather, commune and explore, using the story of slavery and the Underground Railroad to reveal our nation’s social justice legacy and spark human potential. To that end, BDO has undertaken tasks such as cleaning up the farm, gardening, and clearing brush and trails, which contributed to maintaining the farm's space for community gatherings and educational experiences.

    BDO Greater Washington D.C. is proud to support Women Giving Back, which is committed to supporting women and children in crisis by providing quality clothing and diaper assistance at no cost. BDO has organized, sorted, and hung quality clothing for homeless women and children, while also assisting in their store by helping clients choose outfits and restocking racks.

    BDO Greater Washington D.C. is dedicated to helping Junior Achievement of Greater Washington (JA) in its mission to provide every student equal access to relevant and experiential education, community mentors, and global business leaders so that they can confidently pursue the real-world opportunities that matter most to them. BDO has participated in JA Finance Park, engaging with middle school students to teach them financial independence and readiness through goal setting, saving, budgeting, shopping, and bill paying, providing first-hand experience in navigating today's complex economy and making decisions that impact their future.
