Nate Collins

Nate is a national tax leader in BDO’s M&A tax practice. Having provided tax advisory services on hundreds of transactions, Nate supports buyers and sellers with their merger and acquisition related tax structuring and tax due diligence needs.

Nate has led the domestic and foreign buy-side and sell-side tax due diligence and related negotiations for clients across the globe as well as tax structuring projects for strategic buyers, private equity groups, and acquisition targets. In addition to supporting these traditional pre-transaction work streams, Nate has significant experience designing and executing other M&A related special projects, both pre and post-transaction.

Nate’s experience includes advising on tax matters affecting multi-state and multi-national companies in a variety of industries. He has consulted with a wide range of clients, from those in the development stage to those with revenue in the billions.

Prior to joining BDO, Nate held tax and accounting positions at a Big Four Firm, Leo Burnett Worldwide, and Aon Corporation.
