BDO Alliance Leaders Showcase Black Excellence...and Talk Health and Wellness

This year’s Black History Month theme of health and wellness both celebrates the progress made in Black health and wellness while also exposing the inequities that can still have an impact on proper medical care within the Black community. At BDO, our core purpose of helping people thrive every day includes creating a safe and supportive environment where professionals can bring their authentic selves to work and engage in candid conversations on important topics. This Black History Month, the firm hosted events and provided forums for conversations that explore this year’s central theme and affirm our commitment to our core purpose.

As part of this month’s engagement, we got to know a few of the Black leaders who are part of the BDO Alliance USA. Each with decades of technical knowledge and experience, these leaders are advancing the profession by bringing their unique voices, perspectives and histories to their clients and communities. Read on for their reflections on what it has taken, as professionals of color, to overcome obstacles and find success.
