Angela Acosta

Angela is a Principal in the firm’s State & Local Tax services practice and National Leader for Sales Tax services. She has more than 25 years of experience in all aspects of state and local taxation, including planning and restructuring of multi-state businesses, sales and use tax, unitary taxation, audit controversy and appeal, nexus determinations, voluntary disclosure agreements, negotiated incentives, tax credits, ASC 740 and ASC 450 reviews, litigation support, state aspects of mergers and acquisitions, state tax due diligence, outsourced engagements, unclaimed property, and property tax. She also leads BDO’s State & Local Tax Practice in the Carolinas.​
