Clark Schweers leads BDO’s Forensic Insurance and Recovery practice with significant experience advising organizations on the quantification and compilation of complex insurance claims for insured businesses. Clark's industry experience includes consumer and retail products, hospitality, technology and life sciences, manufacturing, financial services, and automotive sectors.
He advises clients on domestic and global matters involving property and business interruption, builders risk, product recalls, political risk, and cybersecurity breach. Experienced in claims related to losses from catastrophic events, Clark has worked on such matters as the terrorist attacks of September 11th, Hurricanes Katrina and Sandy, the Thailand floods, and the Japan earthquake and tsunami, among other major global events.
He has been quoted and published on insurance claims and business interruption topics in several national and industry publications, including CNBC, the Journal of Accountancy, Business Insurance, Risk & Insurance, Insurance Journal, Treasury & Risk, and Property Casualty 360. He has also provided expert testimony on matters pending in various courts.
