Wendy Hambleton

Wendy works with the Global Offerings Services group to assist BDO’s clients and engagement teams to resolve accounting, auditing and SEC reporting issues. She has more than 35 years of experience in accounting, auditing and financial reporting.

As part of her responsibilities, Wendy coordinates the IFRS practice in the US and is the US representative on the BDO Global IFRS policy committee. She consults on the technical application of IFRS and related policies. Wendy has assisted companies converting from US GAAP to IFRS and from IFRS to US GAAP. Additionally, she is a frequent instructor on US and international accounting and auditing topics as well as SEC reporting both in the US and globally.

Previously, Wendy was an audit principal in BDO’s Washington DC practice office where she had extensive experience in global manufacturing companies.
