Scott Cederburg

Scott has over 25 years of property/casualty actuarial experience, including 20 years serving clients from actuarial roles within public accounting firms. His experience prior to joining BDO include positions with a Big Four accounting firm, a top ten personal lines insurance company, and a service provider for the personal/commercial auto residual market.

Scott works with leadership at insurance companies, self-insured organizations, captives and various risk-pooling entities in a wide-variety of roles related to financial reporting, pricing, due-diligence for mergers and acquisitions, and meeting statutory requirements. His experienced-based knowledge spans across most lines of business, including workers’ compensation, professional liability, personal and commercial auto, general liability, warranty, and other personal and commercial lines. 

Scott regularly provides feedback to executive management, audit committees, and Boards of Directors on reserve/rate adequacy and financial reporting processes, including company-specific trends impacting its financial results and effects of market and industry changes on similar books of business.
