Exploring Intergenerational Collaboration During AAPI Heritage Month

May is Asian American and Pacific Islander (AAPI) Heritage Month, a time that honors and amplifies the diverse cultures, histories and achievements of AAPI individuals and communities. In celebration, BDO’s Multicultural Alliance is leading a firmwide effort to educate by highlighting AAPI voices and providing opportunities for networking and engagement.

Aligned with Ascend’s 2024 theme – “The Year of Leading Together” – this month’s programming is focused on intergenerational leadership and mentorship among AAPI professionals. Does each generation differ vastly in their preferred communication and management styles? How does upbringing influence work ethic? What similar challenges have people of all ages faced in the workplace, and what can be learned from engaging with other generations? Hear from some of our AAPI professionals who recently connected to discuss these topics and more.
